Sri Lanka has some of the most pristine beaches on the planet and the East Coast does not disappoint, with its amazing white sand beaches. Whether you’re an experienced surfer, or just starting out, Arugam Bay on Sri Lanka’s East Coast is often regarded as the best surf spot in the country. Maybe discovering the natural beauty, wildlife and amazing diversity of Sri Lankan culture is more your style? This tour will deliver the best mix of surfing, adventure, nature and culture all in the laid-back style that Sri Lanka is famous for.
Inclusions
Join us for 10 nights starting in Negombo in the west of the country, travelling via Hikkaduwa to Arugam Bay on the East Coast. Surfers on the trip get to experience Arugam Bay, arguably the best and most well-known wave in Sri Lanka. Non-surfers can enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving on some great reefs, nature tours to explore the local countryside … or just sitting back and taking it all in at one of the many restaurants and cafes that line the local streets and beaches.
EXPERIENCED GUIDES
Our experienced female guides/coaches will accompany you so you can enjoy:

Surf coaching if required for all levels

Beginners will learn the basics of surfing, such as paddling a board, ‘pop ups’, and turtle rolls, surfing etiquette, confidence and improved capability in the water

Intermediate surfers will learn tips and recommendations for individual improvement using the latest in surf coaching techniques

This tour is also suitable for those who do not surf, as there are plenty of locations for snorkelling, sun baking, reading and just relaxing.
