Surf Getaways loves to support women empowering women, which is why we have joined forces with Still Stoked an inspiring website dedicated to providing great articles, tips and special deals for women in action and adventure sports. Still Stoked’s mission is to tell the strong female-inspired stories we wished were available when we were younger. Still Stoked was created from a passion. A deep burning passion to shout from the rooftops, the inspiring stories, accomplishments, and ideas of trailblazing women in adventure sports and alternative lifestyles. Motivated by the belief that ‘it is hard to be what you can’t see’, Through these stories, they aim to challenge the status quo of women in the outdoors and wider society. You’ll also see the girls write reviews about our tours to give you more insight into what to expect on one of our tours. Today Still Stoked has evolved to be the voice of many women from different paths. Still led by snowboarder, surfer and production maestro Alexa Hohenberg, and Melanie Williams, a writer and wanna-be big wave surfer.
