Below is a sample itinerary, which is subject to change based on weather and conditions.

Day 6: Monteverde Reserve

Today is a day of adventures in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve - one of the most famous conservation areas in Central America. It is a tropical rain forest but because of its altitude (1400 meters or 4.600 feet), it's called a Cloud Forest. It is home to rare and unusual wildlife, such as jaguars and pumas, and over 450 species of birds including the world's largest population of quetzal birds.

We will experience Sky Adventures Classic Monteverde Sky Tram, Trek & Walk tour. The tour starts with the slow-paced Sky Tram gondolas soaring smoothly up to the Continental Divide and to one of the highest mountains of Monteverde, offering impressive views of the cloud forest biodiversity.  Then you will begin a truly exhilarating adventure of zip lining down the mountains. Sky Walk is a 2.5km (1.5mi) circuit trail that snakes through distinct levels of the wonderfully diverse ecosystem. Sky Walk uses these trails and a series of suspension bridges for a one-on-one experience with the flora and fauna of the forest canopy. You will hike deep into these magical tropical forests to admire nature from a distinct perspective. Crossing hanging bridges with complete views of the forest canopy, and from the forest floor on well-maintained paths.

Lunch and dinner are your own today.
